How to build a responsive list fast

When you have an online business it is crucial that you grow a responsive list. A list of purchasers, subscribers or newsletter readers that are keen to know what you have to say and give. Below is the outline of what you need to do to build your list and make it responsive to your emails.

1 " Opt-in form - You first need an opt-in form to be placed on your website so that people can enter their name and email address. To get the html code for this you will need an autoresponder service. There are several available and you do not have to be a techie to use it.

2 " Traffic - Now you have your form up and running on your website you need to drive traffic to it. There are several ways to do this including pay per click, blog and forum posting, video marketing and of course article marketing. There are lots more but these will do to start.

3 " Incentive " For a visitor to give you their name and email address you must offer them something of value and pertaining to their interest. This is often a free report you have written or a subscription to your newsletter. Make a good first impression and make it a solid report so you can build on that foundation.

4 " Build a relationship " building a relationship with your list is the last key to success. To gain their trust you must be yourself as if you pretend you will soon be c aught out. By using webinars and video you can show yourself being you that will turn many in your list to be loyal fans.

These are the basics to create yourself a list of people who are interested in you. Now there are two really big important factors you will need to learn. Driving traffic is the first and how to build a relationship with your list is the second if you want this to be successful.
